Advantages and disadvantages of mobile infrared heaters
Advantages
The big advantage of our mobile electric heaters: You don’t have to commit yourself. They are ideal as additional heating. Want that extra dose of coziness at the breakfast table? Then move your mobile infrared heater a little closer. Then it’s off to the home office? Then simply take the electric heater with you. No matter which heating system you already use – these heaters give you local and targeted heat, wherever you need it.
Another great advantage of our infrared heating floor unit is that you can also use it as a wall heater. Remove the castors and hang the electric heater on the wall. The colorful motifs will also look good permanently installed on your wall and be an eye-catcher. One heater – two uses at once!
Your advantage when using the mobile desk heater: It is so small and compact that it can also be placed under or next to smaller desks. The curved shape also ensures even heat distribution. Draughts are largely shielded in the foot area. Cold feet and legs are a thing of the past.
Infrared heaters are the most efficient form of electric heating because they almost completely convert one unit of heat into one unit of electricity. In addition, the principle of direct heat is more effective than convection heat. An infrared heater is therefore more energy-efficient than a fan heater, for example.
Disadvantages
Mobile electric heaters are primarily intended as supplementary heating, they do not replace a complete heating system. The heat tends to be localized and does not generally provide complete room heating (of course, this also depends on the overall size of the room).
