Data Volume and Frequency
- Data is transmitted in real-time or event-based
- Typical daily volume: a few kilobytes (depending on usage)
Storage and Retention
- Stored on Tuya Cloud servers
- Default retention: 7 days (can be extended via additional services)
User rights
- Access & Export: Users can export their data at any time free of charge in the Tuya App (“Settings → Privacy → Device Data Export”)
- Deletion: By removing the device in the app (“Delete Device”)
- Sharing: Users may share their data with third parties upon request (via export or support ticket)
