Placement of an infrared heater

The correct positioning of the heating panel is important so that the infrared heating can achieve its full effect. Basically, the following applies: In large rooms, it makes sense to install several small heating panels instead of a single high wattage panel to ensure even heat development.

Our advice on the optimum positioning of the Könighaus infrared heater:

  • Do not place opposite windows
  • Do not place behind cupboards or seating furniture, otherwise the heater cannot emit its heat unhindered
  • Install on external walls so as not to lose any heating power
  • Mount at body height so that the heat is optimally distributed
  • Install at a maximum distance of 2.5 meters from the area to be heated

With ceiling heating, the heat comes from above and not only ensures even heat radiation in the room, but also keeps your feet warm. This space-saving and unobtrusive heating method also allows you to direct the heat to a specific area, such as a couch or desk area.

Note: With ceiling heating, the objects in the room are warmed by the radiant heat, which in turn transfers the heat to the room air.
